Objective:
- To test, experiment or train users a training site exists for every live instance of PolicyStat.
Environment:
- PolicyStat Training Site
Additional Information:
Each site has a Training and Beta site.
Answer:
Each live PolicyStat site has two backup instances (http:// yoursite.pstattraining.com and http:// yoursite.pstatbeta.com)
Training Sites Mirror Live Sites
-
These sites mirror the live site's content, but can also be modified on an as-needed basis for training, troubleshooting, testing, etc.
They Refresh Every 2 Weeks
- Every two weeks on Sunday evenings, training sites are reset to mirror the content from your live sites so any data in the training site is going to be deleted and overwritten with the live data. This includes all configuration settings, permissions and document content.
- Maintenance schedule:

What's Different In Training / Beta Sites?
-
Email Notifications are not sent from the Training / Beta sites.
-
Attachments are not available and will display a placeholder icon if they are inserted into a document's content.
- If using Active Directory or Single Sign-On is enabled a site administrator will need to contact PolicyStat Support to disable those connections and have their user account password reset.
-
Single Sign-On does not work for your training site unless you create unique IDP Metadata for pstattraining and refreshes it every 2 weeks on the schedule. Clients with SSO who wish to use their training sites can ask Support to disable it and reset passwords on an as-needed basis.
