How Do I Schedule an Effective Date?
What is Scheduled Effective Date?
Answer:
After completing the Approval Workflow process, a document that has been assigned a Scheduled Effective Date will become unavailable to edit. This is to prevent modification to the document after all parties in the workflow have marked their approval. Instead, the document will contain the option to edit its Effective Date:
Only Users with elevated permissions may edit the Scheduled Effective Date. This includes the policy Owner, Area Manager, Approval workflow member, and Site Administrator. Please note that a Site Administrator can also perform an administrative override on the policy to edit its Scheduled Effective Date.
