Issue:
- The green/red/grey auto-save rectangle on the edit page in covering text
Environment:
- PolicyStat Editor
Additional Information:
PolicyStat features an auto-save feature that saves your progress as you work on a draft. The auto-save box floats on the right side of the Editor screen and cannot be closed. It will change colors automatically when actions are recorded.
If a draft contains unsaved modifications, the auto-save box will appear red and look like the image below:
When modifications have been saved, the box will turn green.
Cause:
Screen resolution is less than recommended.
Solution:
Check your computer screen resolution. A screen resolution of 1280x1024 or higher is recommended. The screen resolution adjustment should resolve the issue so you don't have to zoom out and in on the browser. Please speak to your IT or IS technical folks if you have any additional questions on the resolution since that is something specific to your computer they can help you with.
If you cannot adjust the display resolution the next option is to zoom out on the view in your internet browser.
The image below is showing at 800x600 resolution and you can see that the auto-save function is very much in the way of the text on the editor. By increasing the display screen resolution the auto-save box will move farther to the right side of the screen, away from the editing area.
