Objective:
- Resolve holds placed due to colored font or background use
Environment:
- PolicyStat site undergoing implementation
Additional Information:
Documents may also be placed on hold for the following issues:
PolicyStat documents use black font only. In the event that we identify a document that has colored font and/or background colors, we’ll put the document on hold. Site Admins can resolve the hold in one of two ways:
Procedure:
Retain the text/background content as normal text (or bold/italics):
- Click Home
- Click Policy Imports on Hold
- Click the name of the document you need to resolve
- In the comments field, write a brief description (A) of how you’d like to retain the text (for example, as normal text, bold, italics, or bold and italics)
- Click Return to Queue (B)
Retain the text/background content as an image:
- Click Home
- Click Policy Imports on Hold
- Click the name of the document you need to resolve
- In the comments field (A), write “retain colored text/background content as an image”
- Click Return to Queue (B)
Please note, in most cases, we recommend retaining colored text or background content using the first method listed. If you opt to retain the text as an image, you will not be able to search for that text in the PolicyStat search engine. Additionally, you will not be able to edit the content within the image.
