- Place an active document into the approval process
A new version of a document that is active/approved can be started as a new draft.
To place an active document into the approval process as a new draft version click Edit (you must have edit permissions for the area the document is in).
- Confirm the properties are set correctly such as the approval workflow.
- Make any needed changes to the content and add a comment if needed next to the Start Approval Process button then click Start Approval Process button.
- The document will then move to the pending documents area and you can track its approval progress by going to the home tab and clicking the In Approval link on the right site of the page under Policy Management.
