- Have the approval workflow step descriptions displayed in the approval list.
This can be handy if you have committees on certain approval workflow steps and you would like to have this detail in the approval list on the policy for compliance purposes. The step descriptions will display at the bottom of a document as pictured here:
NOTE: The Step Description field will appear blank if the approval workflow on the policy is changed after the policy is pended for approval. If a Site Administrator modifies an approval workflow while 1 or more policies assigned to it are pending approval, he/she must select the option to update the workflow on all policies in place after he/she saves changes. This will ensure that the Step Description field contains the most up-to-date information about workflow assigned to that policy.
- Click the Admin tab.
- Click Policy Layout under the Configuration section.
- Click the Header Fields tab.
- Under the Properties section, mark the box for 'Show step description in approval list?'.
- Click save changes.
