- Rename a policy area.
Policy areas may be labeled something different on your PolicyStat site, such as Folder, Department, etc.
Note for Multi-Site Systems: You must have administrator permissions (System Administrator) on all sites across the customer system to change an area name. Policy areas are managed system-wide. Changing the name of an area will change it everywhere it is in use across all sites in your system since area names are shared. If you receive an error message when attempting to rename an area, please contact your System Administrator about the change needed. If you do not know who your System Administrator is, or if you are the System Administrator and encounter an error when attempting to change an Area name, please reach out to PolicyStat Support.
- Click the Admin tab.
- Click Policy Areas, under the Site Data heading.
- Click Edit next to the area name you wish to modify.
- Make all needed changes.
- Click Save Changes.
