Objective:
- Demonstrate how to add terminology within the PolicyStat Editor
Environment:
- The PolicyStat Editor
Additional Information:
Adding terminology to the PolicyStat Editor saves the term to your browser using what is called a "cookie." If you switch web browsers or clear your history and cookies as part of a regular refresh, these terms will be reset. For more on browser cookies, see this article.
Site Administrators can permanently add terminology to your Spellcheck Dictionary. For more information, see this article.
The PolicyStat Editor does not contain a whole document spellcheck option. However, as you work within the editor, misspelled or foreign terms will be identified by a red squiggly line much like users would find in Microsoft Word or similar editor programs.
Procedure:
- Within the PolicyStat Editor, locate a term that is unknown. Much like Microsoft Word, the word will be underlined with a red squiggly line.
- Right-click with your mouse to review the menu. Locate and click "Add to Personal Dictionary."
- The term is now saved in your personal dictionary and will not be mistaken as misspelled within the browser.
