While reviewing content, it may be helpful to locate each instance where a term appears in the content and potentially replace it. 

Using the Find and Replace features within PolicyStat makes this easy to do.

Find a Character, Word, or Phrase

  1. Locate and click the Find button from the editor toolbar.


  2. Type the character, word or phrase in the Find blank in the pop up window. If necessary, use the Match case or Match whole word options to narrow the search.


  3. Click Find to locate the term. Click the button multiple times to identify each instance of the term.

 

Replace a Character, Word, or Phrase

  1. Locate and click the Replace button from the editor toolbar.


  2. Type the character, word, or phrase in the Find what blank in the pop up window.

    Type the character, word, or phrase in the Replace with blank. 

    If necessary, use the Match case or Match whole word options to narrow the search.


  3. Click Replace to locate the term, and click a second time to replace. 
    Click Replace multiple times to identify and replace each instance of the term
    Alternatively, click Replace All to replace all instances at once.
