When users will be absent from their position for an extended period (e.g. - personal leave, extended vacation, etc.) a Site Administrator can assign another user as a proxy to assume all of their assigned PolicyStat permissions.

If a user has completely left their position and will not return at any point, their account can be deactivated and their responsibilities transferred to another user. For more on transferring responsibilities, see this article.

Assign a Proxy

  1. Click the Admin tab on the header row anywhere in PolicyStat.

  2. Click User from the Site Data list.

  3. Locate the user who will be leaving, and click the Edit link at the end of the table.



  4. Click the Proxy tab (1). 

  5. Type the name of the user who will serve as the proxy (2), and click the Save Changes button (3).

Remove a Proxy

  1. Click the Admin tab on the header row anywhere in PolicyStat.

  2. Click User from the Site Data list.

  3. Locate the user who will has a proxy assigned, and click the Edit link at the end of the table.



  4. Click the Proxy tab (1). 

  5. Click the X next to the name of the proxy (2), and click the Save Changes button (3).
